Girl-Child Rights
We advocate for and advance the rights of the girl-child across the communities we serve, working to ensure every girl grows up protected, valued, and heard.
Every girl deserves to grow up safe, educated, and free to pursue her potential. Our Girl-Child Rights program works directly in schools and communities to raise awareness of the rights every girl is entitled to, and to push back against practices that put those rights at risk.
We partner with local schools, community leaders, and families to run workshops on child protection, early-marriage prevention, and safe reporting channels for abuse. Where a girl's education or safety is at risk, our team works with guardians and local authorities to intervene early.
Over time, this program has helped shift attitudes in the communities we serve - more parents are keeping daughters in school, and more girls know where to turn when something is wrong.
